Dr. Mitchell Krieger practices general orthopaedic surgery, with an
emphasis on knee injuries and surgery. He is a past director of the Michael
Reese Hospital Arthritis and Joint Replacement Center. He was named one of the
top five orthopaedic surgeons in the metropolitan area by Chicago Magazine. He
was board Certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery in 1971. He has
been a certified member of the North American Arthroscopy Society since 1986.
Dr. Krieger also served as past chairman of the Division of Orthopaedics USAF

combined undergraduate Medical degree from the University of Michigan Inteflex
combined medical degree program. He completed two years of General Surgery
Residency at Duke University Medical Center, then four years of Urology
training at Northwestern University Medical Center. Dr. Schacht has served as
the Director of Resident Education for the Michael Reese Urology Program;
